Is this actually backed by research, or is that just marketing?
A 2023 split-face clinical trial of 137 women measured a 31.6% reduction in periocular wrinkle volume after 10 sessions over 4 weeks at 660nm red light (DOI 10.1089/photob.2022.0114). That trial used clinic-grade LED equipment, not consumer hardware, and we think that distinction matters enough to tell you. Microcurrent's evidence for the eye area specifically is thinner. Why do the LEDs sit under the eye instead of on the sides of my face?
